If we have a cabin ready we have been known to deliver cabins on the day customers have called us.
We cover the North Island, check our delivery areas page for more information.
There isn’t usually any site prep that you need to do. If the site is steep or there are potential problems you are concerned about, then just let us know. We can look at your property on Google Earth or pop around to check if needed.
That's normally not a problem, we level every cabin and can provide steps if necessary. Give us a call to chat about the spot you want the cabin in.
We have jacks, levels and packers that we use to make sure the cabin is nice and level for you. This is all part of the delivery process.
No, you don’t need a permit to get a Cabin King Cabin. There are regulations about where a cabin can be placed on a property, but this usually isn’t a problem.
Yes, although from time to time we waive the fee.
The delivery fee includes bringing the cabin to you, setting it all up and removing it when you don’t need it anymore. So it is like a delivery/removal fee.
The delivery fee varies depending on your location.
We deliver your cabin on a custom-built trailer. We pride ourselves on getting cabins into difficult areas and if we can’t get the cabin in then there is no charge to you.
If there is no access to where you need the cabin, we can employ a transport company to lift the cabin into place using a Hiab crane. Unfortunately, this does cost more, however, if you are going to have the cabin for quite a while then the extra cost doesn’t add much to the weekly cost.
We provide a power cable to you. One end connects to the cabin with a specialised outdoor connector. The other end plugs into any ordinary power point in your home, garage or shed.
